Scott Gober of Covington, passed away February 5, 2012, at the age of 53. Scott worked for Hercules, in Covington, for over 18 years. He enjoyed bowling, golfing, and meeting his friends at the Waffle House. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert and Lillian (Kinsey) Gober.

Survivors include his wife, Debbie Parker Gober; daughter, Kinsey Gober; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Elizabeth and Joe Parker, all of Covington; sister-in-law, DeAnn Cummings and husband, Scott of Monticello; brother-in-law, Scott Parker and wife, Kerry of Covington; nieces, Scottiann Cummings, Gracie Cummings; nephews, Drew Parker, Dillon Parker; cousins, Mack McKibben and wife, Deborah of Covington, Darrell Kinsey of Athens; aunt, Barbara McKibben of Cleveland, GA; uncle, Howard Kinsey and wife, Annette of Monroe.

A Memorial Service for Scott will be held Wednesday, February 8, 2012, 2:00 PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Mack McKibben officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, from 12:00 – 2:00 PM.
