Bonnie Malcom, age 57, of Monticello, passed away Wednesday, September 19, 2018. Bonnie, by all accounts, was a devoted and loyal family woman whose life centered around taking care of her loved ones. Affectionately known as "Granna", she was attentive, caring and compassionate in her role as grandmother. Bonnie enjoyed trips to Savannah, antiquing and tending to her flower garden. At home, she could be found with her beloved cat, Blue. Bonnie was preceded in death by her father, J.R. Parker.

Survivors include her loving husband of 28 years, Philip Malcom; daughter, Katie Malcom; son, Philip Johnson; grandchildren, Dylan Hodgens, Morgan Johnson, Kaitlyn Johnson, Waylon Johnson, Lillian Johnson, Silas Ward, Luke Ward; mother, Margie Cartledge; sisters, Patsy Barr, Carol Johnson, Shirley White, Faye Jones; brothers, Johnny Parker, Jimmy Parker, Lonnie Gilliam, III, James Brown; several nieces and nephews - including great and great-great nieces and nephews, as well.

A Funeral Service for Bonnie will be held Saturday, September 22, 2018, 2:00 P.M., at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 3134 Floyd Street, in Covington, with Pastor Jimmy Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in Lawnwood Memorial Park, in Covington. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home, Friday, September 21, from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M.
