Brenda Fuller Johnson, of Mansfield, passed away Saturday, December 23, 2023, at the age of 76. Mrs. Johnson was a 1965 graduate of Rockdale County High School and a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. She was the pianist and Sunday School teacher for Honey Creek Baptist Church, Grace Baptist Church, and Harvest Baptist Church. Mrs. Johnson held many roles throughout her life. She was a Pre-Need Manager at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, Administrative Assistant at Wheeler Funeral Home, Administrative Assistant for Newton Baptist Church, and General Manager at Mail and Media. In her spare time, Mrs. Johnson enjoyed trout fishing, reading, crocheting, and antiquing. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dewey A. and Gladys Sheppard Fuller; sister, Betty Jean Fuller Taylor; niece, Betty Ann Lester Formo.
Survivors include her loving husband of 58 years, Johnny Johnson; sister-in-law, Diane Stowe (Henry); brother-in-law, Wayne Johnson (Martha); nieces and nephews, Jason Johnson (Katrina), Matt Stowe (Alisha), Tammy Stracner (Michael), Brandon Johnson, Todd Johnson, Toni Edge (Jody), Joey Lester; special cousin, Gloria Jean Sheppard Capell (David); as well as several great-nieces and great-nephews.
A Funeral Service for Mrs. Johnson will be held Thursday, December 28, 2023, 1:00 P.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Pastor Jason Johnson and Judson Caldwell officiating, with interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park, in Covington. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home, Wednesday, December 27, 2023, from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M.
