Brenda Joyce Knight

Brenda Joyce Knight, of Oxford, passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at the age of 83. Mrs. Knight was a member of Newton Baptist Church and was a member of American Legion in Loganville. She enjoyed beach living for many years and liked shopping. Mrs. Knight loved her family dearly and will be missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Voy Archie Short, Sr., and Pearl (Pruitt) Short.

Survivors include her daughters, Becky Sorrells (Barry), Cindy Scaffe (Davey); son, Bill Mobley; step-children, Marsha Byrum (Mark), Duane Knight, Derrick Knight; grandchildren, Brandee Parker (Kevin), BJ Sorrells, Amber Mobley, Stephanie and Beth Barden, Adam Scaffe; great-grandchildren, Brandon Johnson, Barrett Parker, Bailee Parker, Natalie Sorrells, Braden Sorrells, Logan Mobley; brother, Buddy Short; as well as several nieces and nephews; and her fur baby, daisy.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
