Jeremy is survived by his loving wife, Mai Takada Jackson; daughters, Isa Rae Jackson and Saya Mae Jackson; mother, Deborah Jackson, sisters and brothers-in-law, Decha Millwood and Joe Sheehan, Ashley and Matt Lawson; nephews, Logan and Jackson Millwood, JP Sheehan; nieces, Annistyn and Kelsey Lawson, Lili Sheehan; mother-in-law, Eriko Takada; sister-in-law, Aya Takada; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Jeremy grew up in Covington, GA. He graduated from Newton High School in 1997. He spent the majority of his career as a Project Manager in the audio visual industry conducting live events.
Jeremy had an energy that was larger than life and he elevated any room he entered. He never met a stranger and always left a lasting impression on those he encountered. He wore his heart on his sleeve and was certain to make sure his friends and family knew they were loved, but certainly no one received Jeremy’s adoration more than his two girls. They were, without a doubt, the light of his life and his greatest joy. Being a daddy was his proudest accomplishment and greatest sense of purpose.
Jeremy was most in his element being outdoors, whether it be fishing, kayaking, camping, or listening to tunes in his Tiki Hut. He also enjoyed traveling with his family and never ceased to be amazed at all this world has to offer. In addition to being outdoors, and adventuring with his family, music was his passion and he was rarely seen without a guitar close by, ready for a jam session at any moment. In addition to listening to and playing music with friends and family, Jeremy enjoyed going to concerts, and if there was a dance floor involved, he wasn’t too proud to show off his best moves. He was an avid sports fan as well and was always rooting on the home teams whether it be the Braves, Falcons, or his beloved Georgia Bulldogs.
