Gregory "Greg" Randolph Laffan

Gregory Randolph Laffan, “Greg”, of Mansfield, passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at the age of 44. Gregory was a faithful member of Eastridge Church. He loved God and his family dearly. Gregory enjoyed hunting and vacationing at the beach with his family. In addition, he was a huge NASCAR and Georgia Tech fan. He was a graduate of Point University (Atlanta Christian College).

Gregory has been a true testimony to all of us, a light to all those around him. His faith was strong, and his fight was even stronger—fighting cancer for 2 1/2 years and never complaining. He was an incredible and loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend. He will be missed by all. But we know he is running the streets of gold today. Better is one day in your courts than 1000 elsewhere.

Survivors include his loving wife of 22 years, Cassie Laffan; daughters, Malloree Laffan, Jillian Laffan; parents, Dean and Sandy Laffan; parents-in-law, Gary and Mickie Stevens; siblings, Jason Laffan ( Amy ), and Allison Ashworth; brothers-in-law, Bobby (Amy ) Stephens, and Chris Dascomb; grandmother, Sadie Yates; nephews, Jonas Laffan, Kash Laffan, Titus Laffan, James Stephens, John Stephens, Braxton Ashworth, and Memphis Ashworth; aunts, uncles, and many cousins.

A memorial service for Saturday, February 24, 2024 will take place at Eastridge Church by Pastor Kurt Petersheim. Visitation is from 10:30 to 12:00 with a memorial service at 12:00.
