Kenneth D. Hanson

Kenneth D. Hanson, of Covington, Georgia, passed away Sunday, February 11, 2024, at the age of 63. He was a loving husband, father, and Papa who will be deeply missed every day. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, A.D. and Grace Hanson. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Allison Britt Hanson; their sons, Paul Hanson (Joy), and Thomas Hanson (Janelle); six grandchildren, Andrew, Phillip, Isaiah, Leland, Sienna, and Ellis Hanson; brother, Gary Godwin; and sisters, Bebe Cawthon and Bobbie Sue Pace. He grew up in Lilburn, Georgia and graduated from Berkmar High School in 1978. He retired after 39 years of distinguished service from Georgia Power Company. He and Allison have been faithful members of Eastridge Church, in Covington, GA since 2006 where he enjoyed being part of the praise and worship teams there.

A Memorial Service for Mr. Hanson will be held Monday, February 19, 2024, 10:00 A.M., at Eastridge Church East Campus, 863 Highway 142, in Covington. A reception is to follow at the church.
