Marilynn Nunn

Marilynn Nunn, of Hiram, passed away Friday, January 20, 2023, at the age of 71. Mrs. Nunn was raised in Covington where she graduated from Newton County High School in 1969. She worked for the Federal Government from 1983 – 2017 and retired from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Mrs. Nunn most recently moved to Hiram, Georgia. She enjoyed raising Schnauzer show dogs and was active in the Schnauzer Love Rescue. Mrs. Nunn was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Alvin Johnson.

Survivors include her son, Tim Watson; as well as her two Schnauzers, Daisy and Bama.

A Funeral Service for Mrs. Nunn will be held Monday, January 30, 2023, 2:00 P.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home, Sunday, January 29, from 4:00 – 6:00 P.M.
