Vernon Leroy Radford Sr.

Vernon Leroy Radford, of Covington, passed away Friday, February 23, 2024, at the age of 72. Mr. Radford was a proud eight year Veteran of the United States Army, where he served during the Vietnam War. He also served as the Pastor of Snapping Shoals United Methodist Church. Vernon worked as an electrician, and enjoyed riding his motorcycles, collecting guns, and creating and building tools. He could do anything he put his mind to, and was always quick to try to help anyone that was in need. Above all else, he loved his family and cherished the time he spent with them, and will be remembered as a hero to his family. Mr. Radford was preceded in death by his parents, Leroy and Hazel Lois Radford; brother, Allen Radford; sister, Linda Radford Pate.

Survivors include his loving wife of 50 years, Michele Radford; children, Cynthia Ann Edwards(Keith), Vernon Radford Jr.(Kim), Katie Ann Henning; grandson, Vernon Radford III; as well as numerous other loving family members and friends
