Virginia Eleanor Frazier

d. November 10, 2023

Covington

Virginia Eleanor Lee Frazier of West Columbia, SC passed away on Friday, November 10, 2023, one week shy of her 99th birthday.  Mrs. Frazier was a longtime member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Lexington, SC, and an honorary member of The Church Covington for the past three years.  No matter which church she attended, she was involved. From church workdays to stuffing Easter eggs to ladies events, Mrs. Frazier was there.

Her greatest joys in life were spending time with family and friends and sharing the Golden Rule of "be ye kind one to another, do unto others as you would have them do unto you".  She loved tinkering in the garden, tuning in daily to discover the latest developments in her soap operas, satisfying her sweet tooth, reading Harlequin novels about cowboys with children, and making that Friday morning hair appointment. She also never forgot a handsome face or a baby.

Virginia Frazier was preceded in death by her husband, Harlon McKinleth Frazier; her daughter, Jennifer Ann Frazier; her brother, Hoyle Wilson "Hammer" Lee (Bessie Mae); and her parents, Hoyle Maxwell Lee and Ethel Lee Holley Lee.

Survivors: her daughter, Diane Williamson (Jim); her granddaughters, Nicki Payne and Jenny Williamson; her great-grandchildren, Rhys Payne-Gore (Thomas), Graham Payne, and Nola Williamson; her niece, Betsy Williams (Steve): her godson, Dr. Terry Norton (Claire); and a host of extended family and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at 11:30 am at Fellowship Baptist Church, 4238 Augusta Road, Lexington,  SC 29073.  A private interment for the family will follow at Celestial Memorial Gardens.
