Adam Burkhalter, of Jackson, passed away Monday, May 6, 2024, at the age of 59. Adam was the life of the party who brought laughter and joy wherever he went. He enjoyed being out by his pool, cooking, traveling to the beach – especially Hawaii, and Fresh Air BBQ and Rays Mill Pond. Adam liked any kind of music, singing karaoke, and Elvis. In addition, he liked classic cars and firearms. But above all, time spent with his family was what he treasured most. He loved visiting with his family, nieces, and nephews, and loved his dogs, Ellie, Margarita, Ozzy, Mila, and Monster the cat.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Jennifer Burkhalter; mother-in-law, Lynn Seago; grandparents, Shorty and Vera Musgrove, Jess and Maggie Burkhalter; father-in-law, William Freeman.
Survivors include his loving wife, Selena Burkhalter; sons, Devin Burkhalter, Evan Howell (Bryanna), Rylan Whiten; grandchildren, Aubrey Howell, Rowan Whiten; mother and father, Maryann and WC Burkhalter; brother, Joseph Burkhalter (Loraine); nieces and nephews, Jessica Tucker (Cory), Ethan Burkhalter (Chasity); great-nieces and great-nephews, Briston, Doc, Bexleigh, Caylor; father-in-law, Rob Seago; Devin’s God Mother, Ginny Van Rie; as well as special family friends, Ann Morris and Josh Calhoun.
A Funeral Service for Adam Burkhalter will be held Thursday, May 9, 2024, 11:00 A.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Wade Toney officiating and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home Thursday, one hour prior to his service, from 10:00 – 11:00 A.M.
