Agnes Bone

Agnes Bone of Covington, passed away July 12, 2016 at the age of 91. Mrs. Bone was a life-long member of Milstead Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for several years. She enjoyed going to VFW and American Legion dances with her late husband. Mrs. Bone will be remembered as a loving grandmother and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carlton Bone; parents, Clifford and Lillie Mae (Sellars) Aycox; and siblings, Lucy, Preacher, Doodlebug and Snooks.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Patti and Kendall Thomas of Conyers; son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Colleen Connell of Social Circle; grandchildren, Brian and Jennifer Connell, Jessica and Mac Ellis, Lisa Thomas, Teri Shipton; great-grandchildren, Hunter, Kaylee, Emily, Luke, Grayson, Sydney; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service for Mrs. Bone will be held Friday, July 15, 2016, 11:00 AM, at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road in Covington, with Pastor Justin Adams officiating. Interment will follow in Eastview Cemetery, 1127 Eastview Road, Conyers. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home Thursday, July 14, from 4:00 - 8:00 PM.
