Agnes D. Smallwood

Floyd StreetAgnes D. Smallwood of Stockbridge, passed away August 1, 2011, at the age of 85. She attended Cornish Mountain Baptist Church; and enjoyed traveling, sewing, word search puzzles and reading. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend to many. Mrs. Smallwood was preceded in death by her husband, Donovan Smallwood; mother, Minnie (Brown) Cagle; and father, John B. Dean.Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Nan and Charles Armistead of Eatonton; son and daughter-in-law, Johnny and Beverly Smallwood of Stockbridge; 5 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; brothers and sister-in-law, Robert and Peggy Dean of Covington, Randolph Cagle of Cumming; several nieces and nephews.Funeral Services for Mrs. Smallwood will be held Thursday, August 4, 2011, 11:00 AM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 3134 Floyd Street, with Rev. Jerry Barrett officiating, and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, August 3, from 6-8 PM.
