Alice Edwards

Access RoadAlice Edwards of Covington, passed away November 9, 2011, at the age of 86. Mrs. Edwards was a member of Lithonia First United Methodist Church. She enjoyed painting, reading, and working with ceramics. She was preceded in death by her husband, Farris Neil Edwards, Jr.; parents, John Lewis and Mary Alma (Cooper) Durden; sister, Eleanor Cassada; and her brother, John L. Durden, Jr.Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Neil and Mary Milton Edwards of Jackson, Scott and Susan Edwards of Conyers; two grandsons, Wes Edwards, Corbin Edwards, both of Conyers; sister and brothers-in-law, Elizabeth (Betty) and Joseph Ashley of Covington; Lawrence Cassada of Charlottesville, VA.A Graveside Service for Mrs. Edwards will be held Saturday, November 12, 2011, 11:00 AM, at Lawnwood Memorial Park, with Rev. Jan McCoy officiating.
