Alphonso Lowe

Access RoadAlphonso Lowe of Covington, passed away June 21, 2010, at the age of 66. He retired from Win Nelson Plumbing Company after 40 years of service. Mr. Lowe enjoyed sports, fishing, and entertaining his family and friends. Most important to him was his family, which he loved dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Mary L. (Bryant) Lowe. Survivors include his loving wife, Annie Kate (Watts) Lowe of Covington; daughters and sons-in-law, Trina L. and Willie Hill, Tangela L. and Eric Jones, Kathaleen K. and Harry Pierce, Andrea L. and Michael Wilcox; son and daughter-in-law, Alphonso Jr., and Danielle Lowe; 14 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren;  2 sisters; 5 brothers; host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Funeral Services for Mr. Lowe will be held Saturday, June 26, 2010, 1:00 PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Rd., in Covington, with Pastor Angela Afflickofficiating, andentombment following in Memory Chapel Mausoleum at Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, June 25, from 6:30 - 8:30 PM.
