Amber Allen

Amber Allen, 31, of Covington, died April 9, 2011.  Amber had an amazing smile and laugh, and loved everyone she came into contact with.  She enjoyed cooking, painting, drawing, scrapbooking, and loved the medical field.  Amber was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, granddaughter, and friend to many. Many people knew Amber as "little mean butt".
Surviving are her husband, Scott Allen; daughter, Savannah Cox; son, Tyler Allen, grandson, Hagen Allen, all of Covington; parents, Artie and Stacy West of Oxford; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jonathon and Kelley West of Social Circle, Matthew and Crystal West of Oxford; maternal grandparents, Mary Ann and Tommy Duncan of Social Circle;niece, Georgia West of Social Circle; nephews, Tyson West and Talan West of Oxford; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Sherell and Scott Elrod of Covington; several aunts, uncles and cousins. brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jeff and Crystal Allen, Corey and Melanie Allen, Kerri Allen and Terry Sharp, all of Covington
Funeral Services for Amber will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, April 14, 2011, at the Access Road Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, with Rev. Daniel Jones and Rev. Tommy Duncan, officiating, and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Wednesday, April 13, from 6-9 PM.
