Angelia (Kitchens) Harper of Covington, passed away March 18, 2017, at the age of 65. Mrs. Harper was a devout Christian and faithful member of The Church at Covington. She loved her church and adored her church family. Mrs. Harper was preceded in death by her father, Lewis F. Kitchens; and sister, Faye Eskew.
Survivors include her loving husband of 36 years, Norman Harper; daughter, Alissa Harper of Covington; mother, Joyce (Kiser) Kitchens of Oxford; sisters and brothers-in-law; Cynthia and Phil Marvel of Oxford, Renee Grant of Galveston, TX, Rhondis and John Ray of Oxford; brother and sister-in-law, Shane and Amy Kitchens of Covington; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service for Mrs. Harper will be held Tuesday, March 21, 2017, 4 PM, at The Church at Covington, 11975 Highway 142, in Oxford, with Pastor David Payne and Pastor Jason Parr officiating. Jeffrey Nix, Steven Nix, Ha Doan, Chris Richardson, John Richardson, and Kevin Whitley will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow in Lawnwood Memorial Park in Covington. Friends may visit with her family at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, Monday, March 20, from 6:00 - 8:00 PM.
