Access RoadAnn Davis Allen of Oxford, passed away November 10, 2011, at the age of 81. Mrs. Allen is loved, and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Perry Allen; and her parents, Thomas Edgar and Rubye Velveen (Mitcham) Davis.Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Marie and Clifford Ellis of Oxford; son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Lorraine Allen of Covington; grandchildren, Tony Ellis and his wife, Gina, Thomas Ellis and his wife, Anjela, Timmy Allen and his fiancé, Amber Dumaine, Jarrett Allen and his wife, Tiffany; great-grandchildren, T.J. Ellis, Britney Ellis, Kelsey Ellis, Maycee Allen, Cameron Allen, Chloe Allen; sister, Martha Smith of Covington; brother, Marion Davis of Oxford; several nieces and nephews.Funeral Services for Mrs. Allen will be held Saturday, November 12, 2011, 3:00 PM, at Julia A. Porter United Methodist Church, in Porterdale, with Pastor James A. Moore and Mr. Bill Norton officiating, and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, Friday, November 11, from 6:00-8:00 PM.
