Ann Kite

Ann Kite, of Johns Island, South Carolina, passed away Tues, March 5, 2024, at the age of 83. Mrs. Kite was a dedicated employee at Sears for 30-plus years before they closed. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening flowers and vegetables. Mrs. Kite loved to sew, crochet, knit, and cross-stitch.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Lewis Kite; parents, Erma Harzel and Eunice Smith; sisters, Mary Louise Smith Arnold, Charlene Hubbard; brother, Emra Smith, Jr; and son-in-law, David Prince.

Survivors include her daughter, Faythe Prince; grandchildren, Jessica Hughes (Adam), Jacob Prince, Kaitlyn Prince; sisters, Nancy Smith Crosby, Inez Conner, Betty Jo Parnell; brother, Curtis Gene Smith; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service for Mrs. Kite will be held Friday, March 8, 2024, 2:00 P.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington.
