Anna Margaret "Ann" King

Anna Margaret "Ann" King of Covington passed away March 2, 2014 at Pruitt Healthcare. She was 93 years of age at the time of her death. Mrs. King loved crocheting and reading, especially her Bible. She also enjoyed cooking, and will be remembered for her fried chicken. She sold Avon for more than 20 years and was a member of the President's Club. Mrs. King attended The Church at Covington until her health began to fail. She is preceded in death by her son, Mark Ronald Osborne; grandson, Jimmy Lowe; husband, Thomas L. King; five brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Jo Ann and Donald Griffin of Oxford; son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Janice Lowe of Peachtree City; 7 grandchildren; as well as several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service for Mrs. King will be held at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at New Covington Cemetery, with Pastor David Payne officiating. The family will receive friends at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 3134 Floyd Street, in Covington, Tuesday, March 4, from 5:00 - 7:00 P.M.
