Anna May Newman, 92, of Mansfield, passed away August 26, 2013. Mrs. Newman enjoyed gardening, reading, poetry, music, and going to Georgia Bulldog games. She loved all kinds of animals, but especially loved dogs. Mrs. Newman loved her family dearly, and will be missed by all who knew and cared for her. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Park Newman; son, Frank Timothy Clark; parents, Dillon and Matilda (Hertz) Crowley, Sr., and her brother, Dillon Irwin Crowley, Jr.
Survivors include her son, William (Tony) Clark of Atlanta; step-daughter, Rosemary Tinley and her husband, Lewis of Waynesboro; grandchildren, Kyle Clark, Darrin Clark, Christi Clark; step-grandchildren, John Tinley, Pam Tinley Earl, Susan Tinley Renfroe; great-grandchildren, Neva Clark, Bryce Clark; step-great-grandchildren, Fiona Tinley, Katie Earl; daughter-in-law, Peggy Clark; niece, Vicki Crowley Bedwell; cousin, Mathilda Hertz Studley; god child, Marienne Kruze Skinner; cousins in Ireland, Australia and Tasmania.
A Graveside Service for Mrs. Newman will be held Thursday, August 29, 2013, 11:00 AM, at Jackson City Cemetery, 485 W. College Street, in Jackson, with Father Roberto Orellana officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Home, 760 Pollard Blvd. SW, Atlanta, GA 30315.
