Annie S. Lawless

Annie S. Lawless of Covington, passed away November 26, 2016, at the age of 92. Mrs. Lawless worked at Oxford Industries for 40 years. She spent six years as a greeter for Walmart before finishing her working career with the Social Security Office. Mrs. Lawless was a member of Honey Creek Baptist Church since 1978. She dedicated her life to her family, and was also passionate about cooking and baking. Mrs. Lawless was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Elizabeth (Barker) Kirkus; husband of 25 years, Rev. Charles R. Lawless; sister, Mary K. Penn; brother, Sam Kirkus, Jr., "Buddy"; nieces, Mary Iris Allen, Marsha Johnson, Linda Penn Maughon; nephew, Michael Kirkus.

Surviving Mrs. Lawless are her nephews, Mr. James Allen, Dale Johnson.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Lawless will be held Tuesday, November 29, 2016, 3:00 PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Pastor Mack Goss and Pastor Vester Maughon officiating. Interment to follow in Lawnwood Memorial Park. Friends may visit with her family at the funeral home, Monday, November 28, from 6:00 - 8:00 PM.
