Anthony "Catfish" Johnson of Covington, passed away August 1, 2015, at the age of 61. Anthony, better known as "Catfish", worked for the City of Covington for 31 years. He enjoyed the outdoors, which included walking and fishing. Catfish had a love for good food and was always happy at the table. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his wife, Lillie Johnson; step-daughters and their husbands, Bonnie and Michael Anglin; Mary Jane Anglin, Joyce and Bruce Morton; step-grandchildren, Crystal Anderson, Christy Low, Michael Anglin, Jr., Chuck Grimes, Justin Grimes, Miranda Morton, Michelle Morton, Little Bruce Morton; step-great-grandchildren, Little Bubba Anglin, Lee Anglin, Bentlee Anderson, Landon Anglin; several more step-great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services for Catfish will be held Wednesday, August 5, 2015, 2:00 PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Rev. Tony Howeth and Pastor Justin Adams officiating, and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, three hours prior to the service, from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM.
