Audrey Eva Jones

Audrey Eva Jones, of Social Circle, passed away Friday, May 27, 2022, at the age of 87. Mrs. Jones was a devout Christian and loved the Lord. She was full of life, had an infectious smile, and never met a stranger. Mrs. Jones was a hard worker and the glue that kept her family together. She enjoyed cooking and hosting family events. Mrs. Jones cherished her family dearly and adored her grandchildren and daughters’ foster children. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Jones; daughter, Debbie Rice; parents, Marion Grace and Oscar William-Gustof Ulrich; and brothers, Carl Ulrich, Harvey Ulrich.

She is survived by her daughters, Zena Horne (Denny), Lynn Hembree (Dennis); son, Shane Jones (Elisa); grandchildren, Bridget, Mandy, Chad, Cole, Melissa, Drew, Collin, Will, Lizzy, Kaylee, Taylor, Ashley; 5 foster grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sister, Beverly Luther; brother, Bobby Ulrich; and several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service for Mrs. Jones will be held Sunday, May 29, 2022, 11:00 A.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Roger Caufman officiating and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. Friends are invited to visit with the family two hours prior to her service from 9:00 – 11:00 A.M.
