Barbara Ann Levinsky

Barbara Ann Levinsky passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at the age of 81. Mrs. Levinsky was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Covington, GA where she enjoyed singing in and being a member of the choir. In her free time she enjoyed bowling, bingo, playing her harmonica, playing cards, the scratch offs with the lottery, and cow stuff. Barbara enjoyed watching TV, especially soap operas, game shows, and football. Mrs. Levinsky relished in the time she got to spend with her family. Her and her husband Joe, lovingly referred to each other as “Old Farts”. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Levinsky; daughter, Susie Levinsky; parents, Al and Edna da Silva.

Survivors include her daughters Bonnie Raposo (Jason), Margaret Nguyen, Kathy Levinsky (Dale); grandchildren Isabelle Raposo, Michael, Dustin, and Brandon Nguyen, Ryan, Katelynn, Amy, and Ashley Holland; sister Mary Frost; brothers Jim da Silva Sr., Ray da Silva Sr.; as well as other loving family members

A Funeral Service for Mrs. Levinsky will be held Saturday, November 25, 2023, 2:30 P.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, and interment following in Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home Saturday, one and a half hours prior to her service, from 1:00 – 2:30 P.M. While flowers are greatly appreciated and will be accepted, the family is requesting a plant or tree that can be a further remembrance of Barbara.
