Barbara Wilcox

Barbara Ann Wilcox of Covington, passed away March 13, 2015, at the age of 66. Barbara was a loving mother, grandmother, and enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren. She enjoyed going to the beach, and listening to the ebb and flow of the tide. Her favorite pastime was reading murder mysteries. She was preceded in death by her son, Adam Wilcox; and her parents, Fred and Emma (Bollegar) Moran.

Survivors include her daughter, Marisa Taylor of Covington; son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Allison Wilcox of Marietta; grandchildren, Erin Nicole Wilcox, Cyler Avery Wilcox, Jordan Alana Wilcox, Isaac James Smith, Gavin Perrill Taylor; sister and brother-in-law, Marsha and Denny Gilbert of St. Petersburg, FL; brothers and sister-in-law, Barry Moran of Covington, Mark and Sue Moran of Arizona: several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Ms. Wilcox will be held Monday, March 16, 2015, 6:00 PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Rev. Charles Smith officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday, March 16, from 5:00 -5:45 PM. Flowers are accepted or you may make donations to American Cancer Society, 1684 Barnett Shoals Road, Athens, GA 30346.
