Barry Scott Thomason

Barry Scott Thomason, Jr., 27, of Covington, passed away March 2, 2014. Barry was a 2007 graduate of Mary Persons High School, in Forsyth, and enjoyed watching football and wrestling. Barry was loved by his family, and will be missed by all who knew him.

Survivors include his mother and step-father, Julie Ann Thomason and Joe Thomas; father and step-mother, Barry, Sr., and Lisa Thomason; sisters, Jennifer Thomason, Pauline Thomas, Stacy Davis, all of Covington; brothers, Joseph Thomas, Mark Davis of Covington; maternal grandparents, Luther and Johnnie Johnson; paternal grandparents, Claude and Doris Thomason, all of Covington; niece, Ebony Thomason; nephew, Jason Davis; aunts and uncles, Daniel and Patsy Simpson, Brenda and Dan Scarborough.

Funeral Services for Barry will be held Thursday, March 6, 2014, 6:00 PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 3134 Floyd Street, in Covington, with Pastor Brian Wardlaw officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service, from 5:00 - 6:00 PM, and again following the service, from 7:00 - 9:00 PM.
