Barry Keith Knight, of Covington, passed away Tuesday, June 22, 2021, at the age of 60. A family man, Mr. Knight was a provider, protector, and loyal to all his family and friends. For 14 years he worked at IMMEC where he was described as an icon and hard worker. He was brilliant, innovative, inspiring, and dependable. Mr. Knight was a member of the Decatur Sportsman Club, and enjoyed being the jokester of the family, hunting and napping, his love of sweets, and his all-time favorite was doing the best he could to pester his wife, Sherry. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Jaxon Roy Osborn; parents, Woodie and Peggy Knight, mother-in-law, Misty Hicks.

Survivors include his loving wife of 43 years, Sherry Knight; daughter, Destiny Osborn (Roy); sons, Jeremy Knight, Jason Knight (Danyelle); seven grandchildren, Jayden Osborn, Hayley Knight, Josie Knight, Judson Osborn; brothers, Wade Knight (Terri), Shane Knight (Mary), Heath Knight (Melinda); numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Memorial Service for Mr. Knight will be held Saturday, June 26, 2021, 3:00 P.M., at Christ Cornerstone Church, 1020 Oakhill Road, in Covington, with Pastor Darrell Payne officiating. Friends are invited to visit with the family two hours prior to his service, from 1:00 – 3:00 P.M.
