Beatrice Powell

Floyd StreetBeatrice Powell, of Conyers, died March 13, 2010, at Rockdale Medical Center, at the age of 73. Ms. Powell was preceded in death by her daughter, Rebecca (Becky) Powell and brother, Bobby Smith. Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, David W. and Deborah Hayes of Covington, Billy Ray and Emmanuelle Powell of Stockbridge; six grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; sisters, Phyllis Leach, Gail Giles, Ann McGee, Brenda Hyde, Nell Brockman, Joyce Jackson; brother, Harold Smith; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Ms. Powell will be held on Tuesday, March 16, 1:00 PM, at the Floyd Street Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, with Pastor David Herring officiating and interment in Welcome Avenue Holiness Cemetery in Crawford, Georgia. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday March 16 from 10 AM - Noon.
