Benji Meredith

Benji Meredith, of Covington, passed away Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at the age of 62. Benji was an active member of Church at Covington for 29 years and was a dedicated employee at Kliklok Corporation for 43 years. Serving as care pastor at his church, he also served communion for several years. He was a great servant to God and had a strong faith in his Lord. Benji was always willing to lend a hand and was a loving husband who always put his wife, Jeri, first. He was very proud of his two sons, Jordan and Jonah – sharing their interests and tirelessly encouraging them. He never missed a ball game, karate match, or watching his sons play in the band. Benji will be remembered for his quiet and gentle presence and his talent with carpentry and woodworking. He was preceded in death by mother and step-father, Eleanor and Larry Burney; and father James Benjamin Meredith.

Survivors include his loving wife of 32 years, Jeri Meredith; sons, Jordan Meredith (Briana); Jonah Meredith; step-mother, Sandra Meredith; sisters, Robin Broach (Keith), Kim Robinson (Daniel), Bridget Ford (Keith); brother, Banyon Meredith (Christina); as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Memorial Service for Benji will be held Saturday, February 12, 4:00 P.M., at Church at Covington, 11975 GA-142, Oxford, GA 30054.
