Betty Jane Henderson Garner

Betty Jane Henderson Garner of Oxford went to be with her Heavenly Father on May 10, 2010. She passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by family who loved her dearly. She was a loving example of Christ to her family and everyone she met. She leaves a legacy of love and faith behind for her family. She will be sadly missed, but her family rejoices for her that she is now free to walk down a long road arm in arm with our Lord. Mrs. Garner is survived by her husband of 60 years, Mr. James V. Garner; Daughter and Son-in-Law, Debbie and C.B. Wells, Jr.; Son and Daughter-in-Law, James A. and Vickie Garner; Granddaughter and Husband, Jamie and Scott McCord; Grandson and Wife, Lance and Becky White; Grandson and Wife, Craig and Kristi Garner; Grandson, Brad Garner; Great-Grandchildren, Kaitlynne and Makenzy McCord, Jeremy and Jacob White; many cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, May 12, 2010, at the Access Road Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, with Rev. Jim Lugo, officiating, and interment in Sardis Church Cemetery. Flowers are acceptable or donations may be made to Sardis Cemetery Fund, 2956 Highway 81, Oxford, GA 30054. Family will receive friends at the funeral home at 1215 Access Road Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 PM.
