Betty Parker

Access RoadBetty Parker of Social Circle, passed away July 15, 2010, at the age of 78. She enjoyed crocheting, watching Gospel videos, and cooking. Mrs. Parker was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Parker; her grandson; parents, John Wiley and Alma (Yancey) Jones; and two sisters. Survivors include her daughters and son-in-law, Denise Johnson of Social Circle, Lynn and Kenneth Whelchel of Monroe; sons, Ed Johnson of Conyers, Terry Johnson of Covington; grandchildren, Pennie Johnson, Michael Driggers, Christy Johnson, Dean Pannell, T.J. Johnson; great-grandson, Cody Stewart. Funeral Services for Mrs. Parker will be held Monday, July 19, 2010, 2:00 PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Rd., with Pastor Jesse Ogden officiating, and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Monday, from 12 Noon - 2 PM.
