Beverly A. Rodriguez

Beverly A. Rodriguez, of Newborn, passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at the age of 75. Mrs. Rodriguez enjoyed playing card games and celebrating holidays – especially Christmas. Her biggest dream was to one day win the lottery and donate the money to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Mrs. Rodriguez loved her family, children and especially her grandchildren whom she loved to buy gifts for. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mildred Jones.

Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Ruben E. Rodriguez; sons, Richard Rodriguez, Robert Rodriguez; grandchildren, Robert Lee Rodriguez, Jennifer Skagg, Kale Rodriguez, Richard Rodriguez, Ondrea Rodriguez Carter; 17 great-grandchildren; sister, Ray Murphy; niece, Carol Murphy-Lekatis; nephew, Donald Murphy.

A Funeral Service for Mrs. Rodriguez will be held Saturday, January 20, 2024, 3:00 P.M. at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Pastor Danny Sorrells officiating. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home, two hours prior to her service, from 1:00 – 3:00 P.M.
