Bill Dimsdale of Jackson, formerly of Covington, passed away Saturday, May 4, 2019, at the age of 75. Mr. Dimsdale was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. He enjoyed watching college football but especially liked watching and cheering on the University of Georgia Bulldogs. Mr. Dimsdale was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother. His family is what was most important to him. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jill Dimsdale; parents, Silas and Mary Lou Dimsdale.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Kathy Dimsdale; daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Scott Stafford; sons and daughters-in-law; Chris and Amy Dimsdale, Warren and Stahr Dimsdale; grandchildren, Katie, Nicholas, Sammie, Michael, Benny, Justin, Savannah, Brooklyn, Brittany; great-grandson, Dylan; sister and brother-in-law, Rita and Steve Norman; brother and sister-in-law, Don and Debbie Dimsdale; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass for Mr. Dimsdale will be held Wednesday, May 8, 2019, 11:00 A.M., at St. Mary Mother of God Catholic Church, 359 Old Griffin Road, in Jackson, with Father Jose Kochuparampil officiating and interment following in New Covington Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, Tuesday, May 7, from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M.
