Bill Weeks

Bill Weeks of Social Circle, passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2019, at the age of 79. Mr. Weeks was a member of the Elks Lodge for over 40 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed canning and preserving vegetables from his garden. Mr. Weeks had a passion for cars, whether it was working on antique cars or watching his favorite NASCAR driver, Dale Earnhardt. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Edgar and Mary Clemons (Bailey) Weeks; sister, Mary E. Cowan; brother, Donald Frye.

Survivors include his loving wife of 26 years, Vicki Weeks; daughter and son-in-law, Sylvia and Jeff Saunders; son and daughter-in-law, Robin and Carrie Barron; step-daughter, Heather Abendschan and husband, Jake; grandchildren, Lauren Barron, Jennifer Barron, Katherine Barron, Jacob Abendschan, Hannah Abendschan, Emma Abendschan; brother and sister-in-law, Robert Weeks and Donna Harrington; sister-in-law, Voncille Burdette; brother-in-law, Edmund Cowan as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service for Mr. Weeks will be held Saturday, November 30, 2019, 2:00 P.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 3134 Floyd Street, in Covington, with Rev. Mike Hardy officiating and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home, one hour prior to his service, from 1:00 - 2:00 P.M.
