B.J. "Bob" Haralson

B.J. "Bob" Haralson of Covington, passed away November 30, 2015, at the age of 81. He enjoyed sports, especially football and Braves baseball, and was an avid golfer. Mr. Haralson was plant manager at the Conyers location of Wilshire Furniture for approximately 25 years. He enjoyed building things and working with his hands. Affectionately known as Popa, he cherished the time he spent giving his great-grandchildren rides on his golf cart and lawn mower.

Survivors include his loving wife of 58 years, Charlene Haralson; daughter and son-in-law, Lynn and Phil Norton of Conyers; sons and daughter-in-law, Nicky and Mary Ann Haralson of Hoschton, James "Jimmy" Haralson of Panama City, FL; grandchildren and their spouses, Allen and Brittany Norton, Bobby and Anna Norton, Kristy Cicero, Dusty Haralson, Michelle Haralson, Amber Allen; great-grandchildren, Macie, Mason, Lucy, Abbie, Charlie, Olivia, Brantlee; as well as his sister, Louise Haralson.

A Funeral Service for Mr. Haralson will be held Thursday, December 3, 2015, 11:00 AM, at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. Friends may join the family for visitation Wednesday, December 2, from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M.
