Bob Lunsford

Bob Lunsford of Covington, passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2017, at the age of 65. Mr. Lunsford obtained his Bachelor's degree from the University of Georgia, and, like a true Bulldog, still enjoyed spending time at the university. Never one to meet a stranger, he loved living in the city of Covington and could often be found riding his golf cart around town. Mr. Lunsford had a fondness for creatures of all sorts - especially turtles. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Kiser, Jr., and Helen (Almand) Lunsford; and brother, William Kiser Lunsford, III.

Survivors include his brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Kathy Lunsford of Jacksonville, FL; close friend, Nancy Harris, of Covington; niece, Anna Stockinger of Smyrna; and nephews, Travis Lunsford of Jacksonville, FL, and David Lunsford of Switzerland.

A Graveside Service will be held Saturday, April 22, 2017, 11:00 AM, at Covington City Cemetery, Davis Street, in Covington.
