Bob Mccormick

Bob McCormick, age 69, of Social Circle, passed away July 6, 2018. Mr. McCormick was a devoted husband and a loving father and grandfather. He instilled in his children a strong love of family and a passion for food and music - a soundtrack of his life played in the background anytime family gathered together. Mr. McCormick led by example with his irrefutable integrity and tireless work ethic. He was a craftsman, a model railroad enthusiast, and he enjoyed tooling around in his garden. Mr. McCormick was preceded in death by his parents, Ted and Ruth McCormick.

Survivors include his loving wife, Mary Lu McCormick, son and daughter-in-law, Patrick and Nicole McCormick; daughters and sons-in-law, Amy McCormick and Jonathan Bender, Katy and Scott Johnson; 8 grandchildren; and sisters and brothers-in-law; Karen and Rick Cater, Margaret and Jim Primerano.

A Memorial Service for Mr. McCormick will be held Saturday, July 14, 2018, 11:00 A.M., at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Deacon Mark Johnson and Chaplain Jim Ross officiating.
