Bobby Joe Henderson

Access RoadBobby Joe Henderson of Covington, passed away February 4, 2011, at the age of 77. He was a faithful member of Tabernacle of Praise, in Mansfield. Mr. Henderson owned his own construction company, and was known to many as the "Concrete Cowboy". He enjoyed telling stories, and he loved life and everyone he knew. Mr. Henderson was a loving and devoted father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Mattie (Hale) Henderson. Survivors include his daughters and son-in-law, Rita Curtis of Covington, Angela Montagna of Lilburn, Kris and Tim Townley of Covington; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Audrey Owens; brother, Charlie F. Henderson; long everlasting friend, Cora Lee Edge of Covington. A Memorial Service for Mr. Henderson will be held Sunday, February 6, 2011, 2:30 PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, with Pastor Steve Hall officiating.
