Bobby L. Payne

Bobby L. Payne of Conyers, passed away July 14, 2018, at the age of 87. Mr. Payne proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Korean conflict. He enjoyed playing the guitar and was an avid golfer. Mr. Payne was funny and quick-witted with a dry sense of humor. He loved his family and will be remembered as a proud and caring man. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 64 years, Barbara Burdette Payne; parents, Ardell and Eva Payne.

Survivors include his daughters and son-in-law, Theresa Payne, Kay and Charles Faircloth; sons, Mark Payne, Jonathan Payne, Mathew Payne; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service for Mr. Payne will be held Wednesday, July 18, 2018, 11:00 A.M., at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Pastor Darrell Payne officiating. Interment will follow in Lawnwood Memorial Park, Covington. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home, Tuesday, July 17, from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M.
