Bobby Gene Quinton, Sr.

Bobby Gene Quinton, Sr., of Covington, passed away Saturday, September 12, 2020, at the age of 61. Bobby loved music with a passion, a passion that he passed down to his children. He was a bass player in a gospel group, the Fishermen, where they traveled the US. While in the group, Bobby met his loving wife, Rogene. They fell in love quickly and were married for 42 years. Among other things, he loved the Georgia Bulldogs (another passion he passed onto his children), cars and spending time and laughing with his family. Bobby was a Christian man and led his children to the Lord. He was a great husband, father, and friend, and will be missed by many. Bobby was preceded in death by his son, Bobby Gene Quinton, Jr.; parents, Richard and Nettie Quinton.

Survivors include his loving wife of 42 years, Rogene Quinton; son and daughter-in-law, Jacob Lee, Sr., and Brandi Quinton; daughters, Stephanie Quinton, Barbara Fuentes; daughter-in-law, Sarah Quinton; five grandsons; sister, Gwen Savage; brothers and sister-in-law, Rick and Dondra Quinton, Gary Quinton; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A Private Memorial Service will be held at a later time.
