Brenda Bailey

Brenda Bailey of Monroe, passed away Thursday, November 8, 2018, at the age of 74. Mrs. Bailey was a Christian woman who enjoyed going to church every Sunday. An amazing cook, she liked preparing meals for her family. Mrs. Bailey was an avid fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide. In addition, she delighted in working in her flower garden, decorating for the holidays, and collecting "what-nots". She loved spending time with her family - especially her grandchildren. Mrs. Bailey will be remembered as a wonderful mother and wife. She was preceded in death by her parents, Annie Mae and Horace Todd; three brothers; and one sister.

Survivors include her husband, Lee Bailey; sons and daughters-in-law, Donald and Sandra Brown, Kenny Brown, Oscar and Denise Brown; grandchildren and their spouses, Brandon and Jaime Brown, Stephanie and Roy Nelms, Savannah Brown, Madison Brown, Erin Leeseberg, Keira Brown, Kennedy Brown, Kristen Brown, Brent Brown; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service for Mrs. Bailey will be held Sunday, November 11, 2018, 2:00 PM, at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Pastor Mickey Oliver officiating and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park, 1111 Access Road, Covington. Friends may join the family at the funeral home for visitation Saturday, November 10, from 6:00 - 8:00 PM.
