Brice Carlton Lunsford

Brice Carlton Lunsford, of Covington, passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at the age of 88. Mr. Lunsford was a sports nut, but his passion was baseball – he would walk five miles in his youth to be able to play ball. He was a big fan of Gospel music and enjoyed going on cruises. Mr. Lunsford loved his family and wife, Margaret, so much. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Ann Lunsford; parents, Don and Larue Lunsford; and brother, James Lunsford.

Survivors include his daughter, Natalie Griffin (Shelton); sons, Rickey Lunsford, Dennis Lunsford; grandchildren, Nick Griffin, Travis Griffin, Brian Lunsford, Amber Bennett, Lyn Marie Haynie; eleven great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Connie Lunsford.

A Funeral Service for Mr. Lunsford will be held Friday, September 23, 2022, 11:00 A.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Brother Roy Frix officiating and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home, Thursday, September 22, from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M.
