Brien George Hallmark

Brien George Hallmark, of Social Circle, passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at the age of 86. A man of great passion and curiosity, he loved nothing more than spending time with his family, exploring the world through travel, and immersing himself in the wonders of nature and geography. Mr. Hallmark enjoyed long drives across the United States, always seeking new landscapes to admire. His love for reading and gardening brought beauty and joy into his life and home. A successful businessman, Mr. Hallmark's work ethic and vision left a lasting legacy. He was especially proud of his children and grandchildren, cherishing each moment spent with them. In his later years, despite facing health challenges, he found immense joy in seeing two of his grandchildren get married and welcoming two new little ones into the family.

Mr. Hallmark will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his legacy of love, adventure, and dedication to his family will live on in the hearts of those he touched. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Brien and Dora Hallmark.

Survivors include his loving wife of 60 years, Carolyn Hallmark; daughter, Ellen Cobb (Justin), sons, Jeffrey Hallmark (Trish), John Steven Hallmark; grandchildren, John Cobb (Summer), Michael Cobb, Ryan Bingham (Josh) Lily Anne Hallmark, Rose Cora Hallmark; sister, Joyce Cowart; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service for Mr. Hallmark will be held Sunday, March 9, 2025, 2:00 P.M., at Social Circle City Cemetery, Lakewood Drive, in Social Circle.
