Calvin Homer Worley

Access RoadCalvin Homer Worley of Covington, made his journey to his heavenly home, June 18, 2013, at the age of 64. As a Marine Staff Sergeant, he proudly served his country during the Vietnam War. He was a proud husband, father and grandfather that cherished his family above all else. Mr. Worley was preceded in death by his parents, Percy and Grace (Holcomb) Worley; and several siblings. Survivors include his loving wife of 35 years, Velma Worley; daughters and son-in-law, Faylene Worley, Crystal and Sherrad Crawford; sons and daughters-in-law, Sonny and Leslee Worley, Timothy and Justine Worley; grandchildren, Jordan, Jacob, Joseph, Cheyenne, Makilah, Riley, Hunter, Lukas; sisters, Katherine Lanford, Greta Hopkins; brothers, J.L. Worley, Larry Worley; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Mr. Worley will be held Friday, June 21, 2013, 1:00 PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Rev. Wayne Bryson officiating, and entombment following in New Covington Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, June 20, from 5:00 - 9:00 PM.
