Candace Marie Van Steele

Candace Marie Van Steele, of Monticello, passed away Sunday, January 28, 2024, at the age of 51. A dedicated worker, she poured her heart into everything she did. Candace was a giver, always putting others before herself, and her caring and thoughtful nature touched the lives of everyone around her. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, from the thrill of shopping to the serenity of outdoor yardwork. Her love for family was boundless, and she took great delight in pampering her dog, KC, with treats.

Survivors include her loving husband, Keith Wheeler; parents, Donald and Dale Van Steele; brother, Curtis Van Steele (Amy); many aunts, uncles, several cousins; as well as her dog, KC.

A Memorial Service for Candace will be held Saturday, February 3, 2024, 11:00 A.M., at Berean Baptist Church, 12975 Highway 278, in Social Circle.
