Carl E. Harrison

Carl E. Harrison of Social Circle, passed away Wednesday, September 25, 2019, at the age of 85. Mr. Harrison enjoyed many hobbies such as gardening, fishing, woodworking and baking. He was known for his delicious pound cakes - chocolate being the favorite. Mr. Harrison loved his family, especially his grandchildren and his dogs. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 54 years, Marcia Smith Harrison.

Survivors include his daughters and sons-in-law, Teresa and Richard Smith, Rhonda and Tracy Moss, Donna Oglesby, Rochelle Harrison; grandchildren, Rebekah, Rachel, Kimberly, Courtney, Dillon, Joshua, Cody, Hartley; 7 great-grandchildren; brother, John Harrison, JR.; numerous nieces and nephews; as well as several grand-pups.

A Funeral Service for Mr. Harrison will be held Friday, September 27, 2019, 11:00 A.M. at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Pastor Tony Howeth officiating and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home, Thursday, September 26, from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M.
