Carl W. Suter,

Access RoadCarl W. Suter, Sr., of Covington, passed away January 26, 2012, at the age of 89. Mr. Suter was a veteran of the United States Army, and served his country during World War II. He enjoyed making wine, gardening, farming, hunting, telling stories. Mr. Suter was preceded in death by his daughter, Ann Lee Suter; parents, Leonard and Mary Suter; one sister and four brothers. Survivors include his wife of 71 years, Kennetha May (Cleek) Suter; son and daughter-in-law, Carl W. and Linda Suter of Covington; grandchildren, Carrie Bootcheck, and husband, Michael, Krita Sharp, and husband, Chris, all of McDonough, Trey Suter, and wife, Rachael of Suwanee; 4 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, Sunday, January 29, 2012, from 1:00-4:00 PM.
