Carol Ann Swann

Carol Ann Swann of McDonough died April 4, 2011.  The daughter of the late Donald and Mildred McGhee Denham, she was a member of Salem Baptist Church.  Mrs. Swann had worked in sales for Sears and for Henry County Schools.  She enjoyed flower gardening, especially roses, and traveling to the mountains and the beach.  She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many. Surviving are her husband, Durward Swann of McDonough; daughters and son-in-law, Anna and Leonard Reynolds of McDonough, Shelly Swann of Decatur, Cindy Doyle of Covington; son and daughter-in-law, Allen and Carol Conner of Athens; grandchildren Nicolas Reynolds, Isaac Swann, Autumn Daniel, Natalie Reynolds, Chris Conner, David Conner, Rosie Doyle; sisters and brother-in-law, Elaine Denham of McDonough, Penny and Jerry Capes of Conyers;  several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Mrs. Swann will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, April 7, 2011, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, Covington, with Rev. J. Clifton Brown officiating, and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. Family will receive friends at the funeral home, 1215 Access Road, Wednesday, April 6, from 6 to 8 PM.
