Carol Marie Roush

Carol Marie Roush, Social Circle, passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2023, at the age of 87. Mrs. Roush was born in October of 1935, in Cambridge Narrows, N.B. Canada, before immigrating to the United States at the age of 21 where she became a US Citizen. She dearly loved her family, her church family, her Bible study group (she was Sammy’s timekeeper), and most of all, The Seniors Joyful Noise Group, and many friends. Mrs. Roush’s passion, even at the age of 87, was mowing the lawn, trimming the shrubs, pulling weeds in her rose garden, and cleaning the house.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Stella Sutton; father, Emmerson Morrison; and her brothers, Robert Morrison, Gordon Morrison.

Survivors include her loving husband, Donald Roush, Sr.; daughter, Sharon Archambault (Jim); step-daughter, Angelina Roush; grandchildren, Nicholas Archambault (Laura), Amanda Archambault, Zane Killingsworth, Veronica Killingsworth, Cassie Killingsworth; great-grandchildren, James Archambault, Olivia Archambault; sister, Sandra Dempsey of N.B. Canada; brother, Donnie Morrison of N.B. Canada; and half-brother, Raymond Sutton of N.B. Canada.

A Memorial Service for Mrs. Roush will be held Monday, July 10, 2023, 11:00 A.M., at Eastridge Church, 863 Highway 142, in Covington. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Abbey Hospice, 215 Azalea Court, Social Circle, Georgia, 30025.
